Asp.net core web application - where to start.

Hello,

Maybe is not the best place to ask for an advice since this category is more suitable for technical questions, but .. i have a project in my mind :) and i would like to develop it in ASP.net CORE since is a technology designed for future development and i want a new challenge.

I have experience in WinForms, WPF, some skills in web development using html/css and a bit of php and i tried to find something which will give me some informations regarding how I should design and develop a page for start in ASP.NET core and understand from what is made a project in ASP.NET Core but I couldn't find the materials i've been looking for.

Could you give me some articles and books and maybe video tutorials from where I could start??

I really have a great project in mind and I would like to make it.

What I have tried:

Packtpub, google, youtube, udemy ... I need just some materials from where I could start. I've already tried msdn, but I couldn't understand too much at a first look.

After Installing Visual Studio 2017 here is good training example to finish and it has a Lab example to complete.
