Hi guys,

Can anyone help me to manually open the port in my router?

When I use the skype it will manually open the port at run time.

In internet connection firewall properties I saw the port number with particular system Local IP address that was opened by the Skype ...

Regards.

If you mean you want to know how it is possible that skype can forward a port without you actually forwarding it manually, then the answer is simple... it can't.

Forwarding is only necessary if a connection is setup to a system behind a NAT (network address translation) which is the case when behind a router (due to limited ip addresses available and also functions as a simple firewall). This all does not apply when you, even behind a NAT, are setting up the connection yourself. When using a browser to go on the internet it's also not necessary to first forward a port. The router simply understands that you initiated the connection and replies are therefor routed back to you. So in the same way skype does the same by connecting to the server by itself.

Good luck!
