Image matching opencv in iOS

I am working on an application involving image matching.We scan random images,it should identify which image it is matching it with the database. We are using AVCaptureSession in iOS and SurfaceView in Android. It will be of great help showing the correct path towards its development. Seeking advice for both iOS and Android platforms.

What I have tried:

I have used the AVCaptureSession and using SURF scanning to match the image.
