Suggestions for a Python project

I am needing to make a python project for finals, and all my friends are doing something like games or simple console application, but I want to create something that has a real world application (useful software) and a challenging one, any suggestions?

What I have tried:

I have tried to think of making something like, a chatbot, (or something like siri) but the idea of a chatbot seems too simple, also it did not require many lines of code, only in the range of 400 lines

Solution 1

I believe your friend are right. Keep it simple. A simple project could be very accurate in the implementation. If you opt for a complex one it could require more time than you planned and remain without implementation or with a fallacious one.
