hi there!
I'm so glad to find this lifesaver website today, thanks a lot!
I've got my Sony VAIO laptop hereـــــmodel VGN-FW35M or PCG-3F5P (both are written on the laptop but I don't know which one is the model #), Windows 7.

I was working with the Android Studio trying to create a mobile app and it asked me to enable the Virtualization Technology (VT-x) in the BIOS of my computer.

I'm not sure if my computer supports VT-x, and if it does, I couldn't get to where it would allow me to enable it. Can you please help me with that?

Much appreciated!

What I have tried:

I've tried F10, F2 and Del at startup but virtualization settings weren't there.

Check the SONY support website.

1 solution

That machine has Core 2 Duo CPU. VTx is not supported on that chip.

Or you can go through this[^] Intel article to find out for yourself.
