WCF client endpoint does not specify a .svc file

Hi
I have a WCF service hosted in IIS. There is a 3rd party over all wall somewhere and the are calling it https/some_name - they are not specifying the endpoint svc file.

How to I get my WCF service to respond to a request where the svc file is not specified - so I think I need to default it - however IIS default document does not work.
