How to properly copy code samples

Hi,

when I copy code from some articles and then paste to my VS,
the code is in HTML format.
How to avoid this?

I can't produce a sample because your site seems to strip-out the html markups.

What I have tried:

If I copy directly from page, the problem disappears ...
but what is the utility of copy "button" ?

I agree, the copy link doesn't really seem to work, I just copy from the page by selecting and right-click->copy.
