How do I setup ports in my PC?

To communicate with another PC, I have code using serial communcation with VC++

But I cannot find the 'ports' item in the device manager list of my PC.

So I cannot setup the serial properties of comm ports.

Please let me know how setup 'ports' driver in my PC, or setup serial comm port.
