Which IP address to follow on mac system to setup android studio app for local server?

I have tried many things that are available online, but couldn't get the it right, connectivity issue still persist with my setup.

The main thing which is not getting connected is the Database with the app, Database setup done correctly, Android App coding done correctly, only issue faced is with the URL of the local database through MAMP. Please assist me for the MAMP connectivity with android app

Solution 1

You're going to have to be more descriptive of your setup. If you're talking about getting at a database engine installed on your Mac from an Android device, there is quite of bit of stuff we don't know.

First, are both devices on a "home" network?
What's are IP addresses of the MAC interfaces?
What network is the Android device on? Is it local network or the cell network? It's IP address might help you figure that out.

Your question, with the information presented, is impossible for anyone to answer.

This isn't even all of the information you need to find out. You also have to understand how networking works. You're not going to get all that knowledge from a few forum posts. Google for "ip networking tutorials" and start reading.
