Okay, I am learning some DOS and I am currently trying to make a Batch File to sort a amount of music in a "Sorted" Folder, And to my research, DOS can't read a File's metadata. Is this true?

What I have tried:

I have done research online and for myself and have come up with close to nothing.
Tried WMIC but I still do not have a full understanding of that command yet.

DOS is an operating system, not a programming language.

No, a batch file isn't going to be able to get the metadata out of a music file. You'll need a third party app to do this.
