How to add check box to word document programmatically using docx library?

I have been trying to add check box content controls and other controls, But it's pretty difficult for me. Using Docx , I have to implement content controls. Kindly please share some helpful links.

Is it possible to have content controls using Novacode.Docx ?

What I have tried:

I've gone through discussions, Forms and novacode website. But I couldn't find solution.

Have you tried using the macro recorder to record the steps manually? This will show you the steps that you need to use.
