How to create a sub menu and define an index for it

Hi All,

I have a problem with the Menu Editor of Visual Basic 6.0..

When I want to make a menu with the Menu Editor, and I insert some items, I 
get the following message:

    * Menu control array element must have an index..

When I give it a number the the Sub menu items gives the following message
     * Menu control array elements must be contiguous and within the same 
submenu.

Plz provide help....
