What I would like to learn is how to make a javascript or HTML5 on-screen dpad and at least one button for mobile devices. Another thing i would like to know is how to send keyboard input with said dpad and buttons. I'm okay with using jQuery. I'm sorry if I'm asking of a lot...

What I have tried:

I've tried to use the dpad from Aaron's webgl game encounter, it didn't work very often but when it did I couldn't figure out how send a keypress.
