Free installer for VS instead of installshield?

It's been a while since I have coded and made a project. I have noted that MS has deprecated the Installer project in VS. Instead they have partnered with Flexara to provide InstallShield.
But InstallShield has only a 21 day trial.
Is there a different free application that provides the same functionality?

Sorry if this is a basic question, I've already spent 2 hours digging through forums trying to find an answer and hope this is a valid question for this site.

What I have tried:

I have searched several forums but keep finding references to Flexra.

Yes there are many. InnoSetup, Nsis among others. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_installation_software
