How to connect to the npcap loopback adapter with sharppcap?

I have installed the npcap driver, because I want to monitor the windows loopback adapter. However the loopback adapter is not in the SharpPcap CaptureDeviceList.

What should I do to monitor the loopback adapter using SharpPcap?

What I have tried:

I see the loopback adapter in Wireshark and Wireshark is able to monitor the loopback adapter.

The following option should be turned on during installation of Npcap:
- Support loopback traffic
- Install Npcap in WinPcap API-compatible mode

and the following option should be turned off (so not greyed out, but turned off) during installation of Npcap:
- Use DLT_NULL as the loopback interface' link layer protocol instead of DLT_EN10MB

To be able to turn the "Use DLT_NULL" option off, you first have to turn the "Support loopback traffic" off and on again.
