Guidance to implement file download from moss 2007 library

Hi Team,


I'm in situation to decide the way of approach for SharePoint Project.

My Situation is like I want to download Moss 2007 Document Library files into my physical folder and I want to track the status of the files how many downloaded and how many pending.

For Ex:

In my document library I have 10,000 files.

Today I'm going to download 2000 and out of 2000, 1999 are success and 1 is failed and i want to track the success / fail status in csv file.

Tomorrow I'm going to perform next set of records, i want to track those and include in the same csv.


I'm little bit confused about the approach.

What I have tried:

My Plan like download the files first and all schedules are completed then I want to get all the file id's then I want to compare it with download records, whichever is missed in the list then I want to download those seperately.
