Capturing users signature

I am working on a project that requires us to capture the users signature from their tablet pc. Most of the data entry, up to this point, has been text entry and drop down lists, which allow the user to enter data in a window and choose the text they want to go into that field. I'm assuming i need to capture the users signature as an image, but i am not sure how to accomplish this... can anyone help me out?
