How I get all sources from a video link?

For example I have this video (from Youtube) or this one (from Dailymotion)or this (from Vimeo) or any other video link.
And the question is this ,how I get the video sources in a json format with php or with javascript(or angular) .What I want, is how web converter works (like this one) the convertion of the link what I put or how it gets the video sources from that link I put in that input tag.

What I have tried:

I searched on Google and I didn't find anything ,I find a app it named ffmpeg but i don't want to convert it i want the sources from that video link.

Solution 1

You can only get the sources if the owner of the website makes them available. Most sites do not provide such a service, in order to protect their business.

But how this website works?
If you convert a video then select the rezolution and then right click on download button and inspect it you will see at a tag the href link si that from that website server. How it works?
