Upgrading to .Net framework 4.5 . Where's the C# services installer project template? Or is there a new method for installing / deploying services? Thanks!

What I have tried:

Tried searching through nuget web and found no love.

There's no such thing as ".NET Framework 5.0". The latest released version is 4.6.1; there was a preview of 4.6.2 which was released in March; and .NET Core 1.0 was released a few weeks ago.

The way to attach an installer to your windows service is the following steps

1) In new project setup, select Windows -> Windows Service project template
2) Select/double click on Service1.cs
3) Right click on the Design window that opened from step 2, and select "Add Installer"
4) You should see serviceProcessInstaller1 and serviceInstaller1 pop up on the design tab
