How to migrate classic ASP web application to ASP dot net?

classic asp web application 5years before.
Now we want to migrate to asp dot net.
can you please tell us how to migrate to asp dot net?
what are the steps we need to take care?

What I have tried:

We learned asp dot net very well.

You can't migrate, you have to re-write the site from scratch.

Have you looked in Web regarding this?
While I haven't worked ever in classic ASP applications, I looked in google and found there mant good articles and help documents available and would like to suggest you go through those documents first.
