That depends on the drawer. Ones I've used had a serial interface and I had to send a code out the COM port. I have no idea what's in use now.

General principle:
The cash drawer is connected to computer via a port like COM1, and the computer send a signal trough a physical line of the port.
The signal to send depend on the port to which it is connected and which port signal it use.
Without this knowledge, it is impossible to show any code.

When you know the details, Google for code for the port communication and this signal handling.
