How to map request and response in ISO 8583 communication ?

I am in middle of designing an ISO8583 based system. I am supposed to send some request e.g. Balance Inquiry or some cash postings etc.

I am sending request and will get response from BASE24 (responder in my case). However I might end up sending thousands of request per second and I will get so many responses as well.

Wondering how to distinguish response. In other words, how to map request and response among the crowd ?

I have thought of adding physical queue per request. Off course it's not wise.
