How to continue video upload on postback in MVC project?

I have an MVC project. I have a video upload page. What I want to do is once the user uploads a big sized video file I want user to be able to browse around the website without upload interruption. User will start the upload and see the progress of upload on all pages.

What I have tried:

I don't have anything in my mind!
