IS it possible 2010 TFS backup without network path i.e. local drive or USB hard disk?

Not clear, but...
The backup process runs on the server (and it does not matter you started it from your workstation) and the drive you want to backup to must be known to the server - a local drive or USB stick in your workstation are not known to the server, so you can not pick it...

Solution 1

The backup runs on the server so anything it can access as a drive is fine.
