Require help for the creation of replication server in MS SQL server! ! !

Hi All
I have to create a replication server and its corresponding entities as well;for a transform in an ETL tool(SAP BODS).I am newbie to concept of replication. In the current version of the SAP BODS tool,there are two ways to work with the Replication process transforms:-1)Native CDC
2)Replication server
If we try to use the Replication Server option, we need the following details to enter:-
Replication Server
Replication Server User
Replication Server Password
Retention Period
Replication Agent
Replication Agent User
Replication Agent password

I was wondering for filling in the above details do we need,to create the replication server as mentioned in the steps in MSDN site:-

Because these involves creation of all the Replication entities, however no such details are required( or I might be missing something:(..)in the list as mentioned above.Please help me out with this!!
