Formally speaking, this is impossible, because "shooting with lasers" does not create any information; there is nothing related to data acquisitions. Note that even if you photographed the sheet at a random point, it would not give you enough information to locate the object, because of 3D nature of the problem, unknown orientation of the camera. If you do something else, you need to explain it.

We do not do your homework: it is set for a reason. It is there so that you think about what you have been told, and try to understand it. It is also there so that your tutor can identify areas where you are weak, and focus more attention on remedial action.

Try it yourself, you may find it is not as difficult as you think!
