How I can create a media player that can read ebooks in WPF visual basic?

Hello everyone

I am developing WPF media player that allows read epub pdf and rtf files, for that I am using a tabcontrol which allowed to address me more easily between text files and multimedia, but when I want to read  playback of songs or video stops.

my question is, how I can open files without playing songs or video to stop?

if they have any idea or solution I would be very happy to read it :c

What I have tried:

I tried to create another form of epub and pdf to read files but to return to for multiplayer playlist disappears :c

Such thing is not called "media player". If you have a different concept of an application working with different media, you should know better your own design. The problem of stopping or not stopping audio or video is not clear at all. All players are capable of pausing, stopping, all that stuff. What seems to be a problem?
