Is xampp safe to use in personal pc? If not then suggest more secure alternative for running my PHP file.

I was trying to make my own php program and downoaded xampp for it.But then a pop-up message showed up dat it may harm the computer. Is it secure to work in a personal computer environment? if not den give more secure alternative.

What I have tried:

I surfed net for this nd it showed that it is not safe and secure to connect personal lapie. It may have adverse security threats.Suggest some alternatives which are more secure as i donot have a spare pc.
