i have new laptop with win 7 ,, x64 ,,, the .net installed is .net 3.5 and an application need .net 4.5 ,,, how to upgrade

What I have tried:

features of windows ,,, make .net 3.5 active and download .net 4.5 ,,, but did not work

Uhhh, just download the .NET 4.5.2 installer[^] and install it?

I tried .NET 4.5.2 but did not succeed because HRESULT 0xc8000222 , so how can i deal with that

You're getting that probably because you're not installing it as an admin. Right-click the installer pick "Run as administrator".

The feature should have nothing to do with this.

Does this Win7 machine have SP1 installed? If not, you MUST install it.
