Why did I just get a Virus threat notice from ESET when I tried to download the "Winsock Client/Server TCP sample"?

What I have tried:

Clicking on your link produced a Virus threat detection by ESET so it cancelled the download. This is not cool.

What sample? What link? If you are talking about an article here on CP you can ask a question directly at the bottom of the article.

In that case you should ask Microsoft.
