Microsoft word document parsing

He guys i recently started working on mean stack. I understand the basics of it but i need to parse a word document and then search for particular strings in it. Any advice?

What I have tried:

I tried working on $parse but that only seems to work for .txt files. will i need any 3rd party tools?

I think you're going to need a javascript library you can use with node.js to parse the word document
