Wcf need to transfer a long string

Hello,
I tried to do a wcf server which host in a windows service.
the wcf is using tcp binding and the transferMode="Buffered"

my problem is that if the string is too long, the wcf service can send it .
I dont know what I need to change so it will work,I tried to find a solution but with no success.

What can I do that it will work?

What I have tried:

I tried to change the maxReceivedMessageSize in the binding but it still didnt work,
I tried to find more solution but most of the things were about http binding
