Restrict duplication of alias name while creating a distribution list using exchange commands

I am trying to create a new distribution list using exchange server command "New-DistributionGroup"

When i am entering duplicate alias name then it is allowing me to create the new distribution list. While when i try to create the distribution list from the Exchange Server UI in Office 365 then it gives error if i enter the duplicate Alias name.

I want to know how i can achieve the same functionality using commands also.
