live wallpaper with an image but not drawing it

Hi there...
I am an android beginner. Can anyone please tell me how to create a live wallpaper with an image/video that can be set as a wallpaper. But I do not want to draw an image (eg: cube or square or rectangle). Any help would be much appreciated..
