How do I get monodevelop's version control to work with bitbucket

I don't know if this is the right place for this question, but I really need help. I've been using BitBucket (git) to host my projects, and now I've changed my IDE to monodevelop, and it has a plugin for git, but I can't set it up.

What I have tried:

I make it through all the steps, but in the end, the "push changes" menu item is greyed out.
