Removing additional line break from SSRS email body

While sending emails from SSRS we are using the Comments field (within SSRS) as the message body. When we receive this notification, there are additional line breaks even though the notification contains only one line break. Could you please help?

What I have tried:

The html string that is in the comment section of the SSRS is working fine with normal emails and also works fine on browser.
