I am having the image A(image of one red ball). lets take A1 as the brightness increased view of A. let take A2 as brightness decreased view of A. I need to compare A1 and A2. while I measure its counter, is there possibility in size change of the red ball.

What I have tried:

by changing threshold I checked. but it shows size of contours with little different. i don't know where I am wrong?

Usually, you expect size to increase somewhat with brighness...

If brightness is zero, you expect a totally black image and if it is one, you expect a white image...

Usually, the side of a ball would be darker depending on the light source so they would first disappears.
