Select hdr mode on canon eos using edsdk

I am controlling a Canon EOS 5Ds camera over USB using Canon's EDSDK. I need to control the camera's HDR (high dynamic range) mode but the SDK does not appear to support this. However, Canon's EOS utility is able to do it. Has anyone solved this problem?

What I have tried:

I have used various software tools (API monitor, Device Monitoring Studio, MS Dependency Walker, PE Explorer to figure out how Canon's utility does it, but have not had any success.
