When i create a package in the vs it is throwing the below error. pelase help asap

error : Access to the path 'D:\ZRST_16022016\Source\AZ.SharePoint.RST\AZ.SharePoint.RST\bin\Debug\AZ.SharePoint.RST.wsp' is denied.

I believe this is not a logical issue. BTW am administrator of this server.

Also i have another question

If i build the application will the wsp be created automatically with all the changes i have made to the application.

I could find the wsp has been created in the debug folder.

What I have tried:

I tried granting access and gave it. Still i could not create a package.

Solution 1

Hi pls chk the permission of the folder where u have the code ,
make sure the code is not in TFS or other version software ,
Also chk for disk space in that drive

Hi,

Follow below steps to open the project,

1. Click windows start button

2. Type devenv in the search box, then select the visual studio icon, right click on it. Select "open as administrator" then open project and check whether the issue whether are getting error message again.
