renaming a disk/partition on Mac isnt hard How to Rename a Disk Partition in OSX | Unix Tutorial[^] - I dont see what this has to do with the Virtual Machine - Parallels Virtual Machines are in files with an extension of '.pvm'

so Instead of being (for example)

Z:/some-path/Windows7.pvm

you'll have

D:/some-path/Windows7.pvm

did I miss something ?

its still not really clear what you are looking to do - if you have a Windows VM, that say has C: & D: do you wish to rename these (that would be done from within the Virtual Machine, ie, Windows 7 in your case) OR do you want to rename the hard disk file that is part of the Virtual Machine - there are plenty of answers on the Parallels help forums for doing so (obviously, backup everything to do with your Windows 7 Virtual Machine first) - see this for example https://forum.parallels.com/threads/how-to-rename-hdd-files-w-in-virtual-machine.106462/
