Restore files using Vpatch commands

By using Vpatch commands , already generate a patch file based on original and new version difference.

GENPAT oldfile.txt newfile.txt patch.pat

Now I want to restore patch files from my backup folder and merge it with initial file.
I don't have clear knowledge about this. When I googled it, found a plugin called "Nsis"; but I think it also doesn't help to restore files.

please any one give some clarification about this.
And suggest command lines for restore the files
