How to solve the issue regarding javascript and Prototyp.js on IE11

HI There,
I am using Protoype JS for Ajax call through javascript. But recently We are facing strange issue on IE11. We are doing ajax call to load value into dropdown, it is working fine on DEV and QA server, but on production not value in drop down. But the strange thing is that on production website if we put debugger point in IE 11 on javascipt which we are using to load dropdown it works fine and loads value into dropdown but once we remove that debugger point no value loaded into dropdown. Cloud anyone know why this thing is happening. PLEase Help ME ASAP
