How to integrate Sendgrid with ASP.Net Identity for sending email confirmation and password recovery?

Dear All,
I have invested two days for doing something that could be done in minutes. I am working on ASP.Net MVC5 identity to send an email after account creation and to reset password by sending an email to the user's email ID using Sendgrid but not luck yet. Is there any step by step walkthrough to do this? i mean i tried everything but failed to create a functional one.
