How to solve under construction page error in IIS 6.0

Hi,

I have installed iis 6.0 in the windows server 2003 system. i have trying to run the http://localhost but it is not working and getting the under construction page error. Please can you give suggestion or solution.

Note: i have tried that enabled web service extension and set the default page on the document properties in Default web site

You have to make sure there is a website setup in IIS as well.

No. i am not host the application in IIS before that i have checked the IIS working or not in the browser http://localhost/

There has to be something to show. If you got under construction then that means IIS is working, at least it can serve and process .html files.

Place any test html file in wwwroot folder and then try
