SharePoint 2013 connectivity with Oracle

Hi, We have got a SP 2013 requirement to show oracle data in SP 2013. Oracle has huge data. There are some custom code and OOB solutions but I need solution having consideration of throttling and Oracle userid/password security because Client will never share plain text password of Prod server.

Please advise.
