hi,
my app works on (en-us) language. when the language is English Africa in windows phone, my application should not work.
how to stop opening the application when the language is not present.

Maybe you should correct this? I mean the Thing with "empty data" instead of "not allow start the app"....?

True. "Stop opening the application" is the worse possible decision. By the way, nearly nothing depends on "language set". The application should work in all cases.

How true these words are! I still remember the Claim of one of our service engineers. He told me "never ever give me an empty database again"! It was definitely my mistake, that the app relied on some default data from the db....(no comment). I am ashamed still for this :-) Bruno

Solution 1

Read the current culture: CultureInfo.CurrentCulture property[^] and compare it with your "target" culture - the LCID property[^] should do it.

I take care of it, even if you think it is good or not.

I do many times vote an answer without Comment if my vote is > 3.
But every time I do vote <= 3, I give a comment! I don't like this stupid/hidden/devious/anonymous votes. Only my mind.
