Hi people from codeproject, I`m working on a project where I need to encrypt a key on a local machine and send the encrypted data to a php server using internet, then decrypt the data, make some operations on it and store the values on the same remote web server (mysql) using a service.

Hope you can give some ideas of what time of encryption can I use that works on both environments .net and php
