hi i need a way to delete all security entries used to customize permissions of files and folders of an ntfs volume. consider when i convert a fat32 partition to ntfs and i've not customized or set or changed security/ownership of any file or folder. it's set to default. i don't know what's the default. i don't want to set, because it overrides the defaults. i want to reset permissions so that no file or folder has customized permission and use its parent permissions. at root, it should be the default also, and not been set.

There is no such concept as "reset". There is no such thing as "default". You just set permission properties. By means of what — you give no idea.

so, if a new partition of type ntfs is made, this is the Windows that sets the permissions. right?
