Hi,
after long search i found this:
Folder Size Information in the Windows Explorer Details View[^]

I need something like this for an extra Column to show me the md5-Hash of the File.
There are many little Tools, work alone or in Contextmenu - that's no problem.
But i can't find a Tool for taking something from the Contextmenu into an Column so that i don't must click left, right, left, right, ... and so on.

When i search something for solving my Problem i found many Tools for the Contextmenu, that's why i'm asking for a Way to make new Columns in WindowsExplorer which take this Data directly from the Contextmenu.

Sorry if my english is sometimes not readable - see it like "unknown errors"

Thanks for help,
Thorsten

C#
Hi,
i can't write a program like this. I never learned programming in C or another language. I only find THIS SITE HERE where i found yesterday with the dll what i something what i want.
It was a Mistake from me asking first for a Solution from Contextmenu.

What i search is a Solution to show me (for any file in WindowsExplorer, i use WinXP) the md5-Checksum in an extra Column like the dll for the filesize.

Why i ask for the ContextMenu is the possibility of using the Solution for other Problems. There are so many Tools to find but they are all for the Contextmenu - that's not what i need. But when i have a Solution where i can take some Informations from a Register in the Contextmenu and take it directly to a new ExplorerColumn, it's OK.

My Time is running away, my Daughter must gio to school.
I write later, think in 4 or 5 hrs, and i show it with pictures.

So, see you
Thorsten

Not sure I understand fully what it is you want to do, but why can't you use the project you linked and modify it for your purposes?
