Hi everyone, I'm new to certificates and I need to encode a string using a .der file which contains a public key. I have to use padding PKCS#1 V1.5. Has anyone done this before, can you refer me to the right place?

nothing, some implementations use the file transforming it into a byte[], however these implementations use a .cer file not .der so I get an exeption. Also, any mention of PKCS#1 V1.5 redirects me to the documentation of RSA but nothing mentions .der files
